Security at altares
We have an existential interest in the highest possible security with regard to confidentiality, integrity and availability. We ensure this by applying the highest standards in technology, operations and process organization – whether it's our software or our agency services that are involved.
Secure development
We invest heavily to provide you with a highly secure platform. We consult with security and data protection experts throughout the development phase. At least once a year, or after major development steps, our software is tested for security vulnerabilities by independent security companies.
Safe operation
We operate our solution in different and geographically distributed data centers in Europe. This enables us to guarantee uptimes of up to 100% – according to your requirements. But even in our standard operating environment, 99.9% uptime is guaranteed.
Customer data is always stored in its own containers, and it is also possible to have your own server clusters. And of course, your data is encrypted both during storage and transmission.
No personal data is stored on check-in hardware, whether on check-in laptops, scanners, or lead capture devices, with the exception of the optionally available check-in servers.
Secure access
Make sure that your team has access to the data they need. Our access permissions ensure that even though all data is stored in one place, they still only have controlled and secure access to the data for which they are authorized.
All access to our systems is secured with the latest high-level encryption. Login to the backend is secured by multi-factor authentication. Password complexity rules can be customized to your internal guidelines and even single sign-on is possible.
TISAX certified
Since July 2019, our high level of security has also been certified according to VDA ISA in TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange).
TISAX serves to ensure cross-company recognition of information security assessment results in the automotive industry. The regular audit is carried out according to industry-wide internationally recognized standards based on ISO/IEC 27001, expanded to include data protection and industry-specific requirements of the automotive industry.
